Hack the Weather will challenge teams of developers to use The Weather Company weather and forecast data and IBM data science tools to create a smart data application or model.

Prizes:

·  Three finalist teams will be brought to Las Vegas, October 26-28, 2015 for Insight 2015! You’ll present your project at the Dev@ event during the conference to a panel or IBM and industry judges. We’ll get you there, too.  Your team members will receive roundtrip airfare, two nights accommodation and a full conference pass. * ±

·  Grand Prize: The winning team will receive $5,000

* Each individual must meet certain IBM Legal Requirements.
± Additional desired nights of accommodation are the responsibility of each individual.
